Vigil @ St. Rose (January 15)

There's going to be food there and we're going to have a little youth sharing night 
it's going to be fun, we haven't had one in a while.
For those of you who don't know what Vigil is here's a brief explanation.
During Vigil we spend personal time with God. We take shifts during vigil, usually 30 minutes at a time one person or a few people will go into the chapel and stay there for at least 30 minutes and just talk to God. Pray or do whatever, this is your personal time with Him - tell Him about your day, your problems, what's going on with your school, friends, family, anything you want. Just be there with Him. As much as possible try not to fall asleep in Vigil.
After the 30 minutes are done someone else will come in to replace you, but you don't have to leave, you can stay in there as long as you want and just talk to Him all night long. But please don't leave the chapel unattended, someone has to be there at all times - so even though your 30 minutes are up, wait for the next person to come in before you leave.
Remember that this is our personal time with God, so make the most of the time you're in there. Just be with Him.
While people are taking their turns Vigiling, we are usually in the other room sharing or having meetings about upcoming activities. Usually we'll share and talk about things, or just talk about problems and help one another solve them. And we also have food
Oh yeah before I forget, proper Vigil attire. For the guys, it's slacks or khaki's with a white collared shirt (either polo or button down). For the girls, white sweater or blouse with a long white shirt. Try not to wear jeans during Vigil but if you have no other choice then wear the jeans but make sure you're wearing a white top.

Floating in elevators!
Have you ever been in an elevator by yourself and wanted to do "things" that were fun but were too scared that the doors would just open up and everyone would see you doing stupid things?!
Well don't be scared! I was going out to lunch and was alone in the elevator...so I decided to jump while the elevator was going down! Oo o O o this was awesome! You feel like you're floating for a few seconds and depending on how much you put into your jump you can hit the ceiling with your head! hAhahahAha
You have to jump right as the elevator is about to leave the floor you're on so you get the highest jump and the most "float" time!
Try it and tell me how it goes I think I'll go downstairs right now and just try it one more time!
